My story:

I was so excited… First hike after cold, long winter. Creux de Van .With my knee problem I was looking for something easy and not to long. As I was planning to see this place since over a year I thought : today is the day. Packed my backpack, grabbed my coffee and got in a car. 1,5 hour later I was in a French part of Switzerland , understanding completely nothing.

I parked the car and after maybe 15 min the first thing came into view. It was a gorgeous Ibex. Ok, maybe I have imagine them a bit more beautiful. I thought his horns got stuck in a giant spider web. Then I realised this poor creature is changing his fur from winter to summer. Ibex was surrounded by little ones. Enjoying munching fresh grass that came out from melting snow. Mission accomplished. Seeing wild Ibex in nature. Few steps further I got amazed. What a view! Nature Amphitheathre It’s incredible what nature can create. Words can’t describe this.

I spend 2 hours taking millions photos, walking around and the feeling of peace and freedom this place gives you. From the top you can see the forest below, so I can imagine it is an incredible view in autumn. If you are not big fan of long hikes, Creux de Van Natural Amphitheatre is a place to visit. You won’t regret it.
